Reduce Your Risk Of Heart Disease Naturally

Are you one of the many that suffer from heart disease, or even worse? Have already had a heart attack.

Presently, it's not difficult to meet someone who is suffering from heart disease, has had a heart attack before or has been told they could be at risk of developing heart disease. Sadly, it is about as common as meeting someone with brown hair colour. Unfortunately, there are some well-meaning doctors and media being misinformed and trying to tackle this ever-growing epidemic. It is known as the number one killer in America and a lot of other countries too.

Combating the risk of getting heart disease is the best plan of attack. Here are 5 tips to help you start a healthy heart plan

1. Give up smoking. That's right, smoking is one of the biggest heart disease risk factors, especially in cigarettes where toxic chemicals are added (not that I'm recommending tobacco instead).

2. Get out and walk. You can get started by just walking if you don't have the time to follow a structured exercise program. Many people are able to not only strengthen their hearts but even reverse severe conditions just by going for a walk. Walk a scenic route if you can. There's nothing better than being outdoors. Whistling and singing while you walk is highly recommended. It brings happy thoughts.

3. Practise being calm. This just means, try not to stress over the things you don't have to. Stress can kill even for those on a healthy eating plan.

4. Do not attempt a low-fat diet. It may be that your heart condition can get worse if you do this. Let go of the bad fats instead like hydrogenated oil and worse such as the oils in french fries and doughnuts and swap these for fats like coconut oil, walnuts, salmon, whole organic eggs and olive oil.

5. Don't be afraid of saturated fats. It is not saturated fats that are causing heart disease. It is more the processed foods, sugars and excessive refined carbohydrates that do instead.

You can get closer to having a healthy heart by tackling these tips, one by one, which will also lead to a lifetime of good health.
